CAROL ARROWOOD, Chief Human Resources Officer
In May 2009, Carol Arrowood joined Foundations Recovery Network. Prior to this, she was the vice president of corporate human resources operations for 14 years with O'Charley's Inc., a large publicly held, multi-brand restaurant company with locations in 25 states with over 25,000 employees.
During her tenure and as part of the senior management team, the company grew from 38 company owned restaurants to three brands with 350 locations. During this period, revenues grew from $85 million to $997 million.
Carol established and directed all core human resources function such as talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits and HRIS. She also has extensive experience in employment law, mergers and acquisitions, crisis management, project management and process improvement.
Prior to O'Charley's Inc., Carol was a consultant with Kraft CPAs, a large local accounting firm that offered HR Consulting Services. Initially, she entered the field of HR in 1986 with Hospital Corporation of America and recruited medical personnel for the King Faisal Hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Carol graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing from Lipscomb University.

PATTI KIRBY, Business Office Manager
Patti Kirby joined FRN in September 2009 as Business Office Manager. Patti has over 25 years experience in the healthcare industry and has held a variety of administrative positions in several specialty areas including psychiatry and cardiology. For the past ten years Patti's primary focus has been revenue cycle management, coding and reimbursement. She obtained her CPC certification in 2001.
Prior to joining FRN Patti served as Physician Practice Coordinator with Psychiatric Solutions, Inc, and Business Office Director for Community Health Systems, PPSI,v one of the largest national hospital corporations where she managed revenues for over 75 physician groups in 23 states. In her current position, Patti initially managed the successful transition of claims processing through an outside vendor to establishing an internal revenue management department resulting in significant cost reduction and increased corporate control.

ANNA MCKENZIE, Executive Editor
Originally from Little Rock, Ark., Anna McKenzie earned a bachelor's degree in English from Ouachita Baptist University. At Ouachita, Anna was awarded Outstanding English Major of the Year for both her junior and senior years. She also had an on-campus job at the Speer Writing Center as a consultant for other students, teaching them principles of grammar and helping them edit their own papers. Anna became a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society, as well as Alpha Chi Honor Society. She was on the president's list and the dean's list and graduated summa cum laude from Ouachita in 2009.
In the summer of 2008, Anna worked at LifeWay Christian Resources in Nashville, Tenn., as an intern copy editor for the Student Ministry Publishing department, where she was able to attend publishing meetings, prepare outdated materials for a transition to the web, edit church resources, and assist in the launching of a new campaign for LifeWay Student Ministries.
After graduating from OBU in 2009, Anna returned to Nashville to pursue a career in writing and editing. She began writing articles for ec, LifeWay's teen magazine, and has been published multiple times. In the spring of 2010, Anna joined FRN as a freelance writer and then as a full-time copy editor. In 2011, she became the executive editor on the Web marketing team. Her job is to oversee the writing and editing of Web content and marketing materials, ensure the conceptual and grammatical integrity of print and online resources, and create content for media and distribution purposes.

LEE PEPPER, Chief Marketing Officer
Lee leads FRN's Web Marketing and Information Technology Teams. While attending the University of Tennessee, Lee launched a popular Perot '92 student group whose fervor caught the attention of the national Perot Presidential Campaign. After graduation in 1993, he moved to Dallas and worked for Ross Perot's political groups including petition and ballot access drives for the Reform Party in 13 states in 1995 and 1996. Lee became the youngest state director for Perot '96 when he led the state of Indiana's campaign efforts.
Following the 1996 Presidential election he moved to Perot's IT Service's company Perot Systems. Lee worked for Perot Systems mainly in the healthcare division through 2006.
His entrepreneurial spirit and creative drive led him back to Nashville working with digital music startups PassAlong and Speakerheart. He joined FRN in June 2008 where he led the transition from traditional referral, yellow pages and paid marketing campaigns to an SEO/SEM and Social Media strategy. This paradigm shift has transformed FRN into an industry leader within behavioral healthcare. This change was coupled with new processes to analyze calls, leads and admissions all being monitored in real time.
Lee also spent eight years in the U.S. Army Reserves completing Air Assault School and Officer Candidate School finishing his service as an Armor officer. In 2009 Lee took up triathlons and running and has now finished over 20 triathlons including his first ironman and ultra-marathon in 2011. CHERIE PILLIOD, Web Marketing and Creative Director Originally from Ohio, Cherie Pilliod moved to Knoxville, Tenn., to attend the University of Tennessee and later graduate from Austin Peay State University with a bachelor's degree in art and a minor in marketing.
Her history in Web design began in 1999 at Gaylord Entertainment in Nashville, Tenn., with their digital department, Gaylord Digital. Responsibilities included being the Webmaster for Indieforce.com and also MusicCountry.com, the official sponsor of the Dixie Chicks Fly Tour. From Gaylord Entertainment, Pilliod moved on as co-Webmaster with Musicforce.com when it was acquired by Christianbook Distributors. Two years later, she joined PassAlong Networks, a recognized leader in the digital music space. At PassAlong, she initially led the creative department and later became the product manager for StoreBlocks.com, the foundation of their B2B platform.
At Foundations Recovery Network (FRN), Pilliod oversees and manages nearly 150 web properties by implementing the latest search engine optimization (SEO) principles, Web design, SEO approach, strategies and methodologies in order to rank well in this highly competitive space.
Her other passions include rowing, triathlons, photography and oil painting. She is a member of the Nashville Rowing Club and actively involved with Girls on the Run Nashville, an afterschool program for 3rd and 4th grade girls that encourages a healthy lifestyle through running.

RICHARD RODGERS, Chief Operating Officer Before joining Foundations Recovery Network in 2007, Richard Rodgers worked in many different financial institutions.
He spent the first six years of his career with ALCOA, holding various positions in their Corporate Finance group. He later became the CFO of Infrastructure Corporation of America for six years from the company's startup until it reached $50 million in revenue in 2005. At Clayton Associates, a Nashville venture capital firm, Richard was partner and CFO for a series of ventures funds with other $100 million in assets under management.
He holds a B.S. in Corporate Finance from the University of Alabama; a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Tennessee.

DAVID ROSENKER, Director of Business Development
As national director of businesses development at FRN, David Rosenker will be responsible for establishing a business development staff across the U.S. and integrating those staff to the clinical processes. He will also integrate business development with the FRN call center as well as establish new referral sources and techniques for soliciting business.
Before joining FRN, David worked at Caron Treatment Center as executive vice president of business development.
Through his years working in chemical dependency, David gained extensive knowledge and expertise in the specific areas of adolescent and adult treatment, adolescent development, family education, student assistance, youth tobacco cessation as well as other prevention and treatment models.
David began his career providing clinical and administrative direction for adolescent programs in Minnesota and Pennsylvania for 10 years. During his 20 years at Caron Treatment Centers, he designed and implemented numerous community and professional training programs and refined their customer service methods. He also supervised all clinical services at Caron for eight years.
In addition to his work, David has served on many community projects including Pro Kids and Community Intervention. He has also served on a variety of board positions such as The Pennsylvania Student Assistance Association, Community Prevention Partnership and Lifeworks in London and serves as a consultant to Veterans Health Initiative, an organization providing funding for veterans to receive addiction treatment.

SCOTT SARNACKE, Corporate Controller
Scott Sarnacke earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accounting at Michigan State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of AICPA and TSCPA.
As a CPA, Scott’s work has centered around financial assurance and transaction service consulting. This has included quality of earnings analysis and financial due diligence for a wide range of clients in a variety of industries. As part of his managerial development, he graduated from two leadership development programs over a four year span and was an instructor for various internal technical training sessions. He presented accounting updates at various professional associations including local HFMA chapters.
At FRN, Scott is responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial reporting process as well as various operational initiatives. His goal is to leverage his technical and managerial abilities to improve the overall financial reporting function, including process efficiencies and stronger internal controls.
Scott is currently a member of Leadership Healthcare, the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the board of directors of Sweet Sleep, a Nashville non-profit organization in Brentwood, Tenn.
