Foundations Recovery Network is constantly seeking to add value to the treatment community, and one way we do this is through our events. We host conferences, offer a free educational webinar series, host professional lectures, and conduct a series of events through our alumni program and in partnership with the Heroes in Recovery movement.

Conferences

Each year we offer two nationwide conferences (located in San Diego, Calif., and Palm Beach, Fla.) that focus on providing the latest information on treatment methods. Our conferences are widely known and respected in the behavioral health industry for education and networking opportunities.

Experts from all over the country provide unique workshops and keynote presentations on a variety of treatment subjects. Typically, conference attendees have a chance to earn up to 21-24 hours of continuing education credit in their given discipline.

Webinars

Through our webinars, we offer industry experts a chance to educate their peers and network with other treatment professionals. We also offer CEs to webinar attendees, and registration is free. Our goal in providing this educational series is to create more exposure for effective treatment methods and to enable professionals to connect with one another and increase their education.

We invite you to attend our webinars or submit a proposal to be a webinar speaker. Some of our previous webinar topics include DBT, intervention, psychodrama, rapid trauma resolution, addiction-free pain management, Motivational Interviewing and more. Professional Lecture Series

Are you looking to advance your professional education in the treatment industry? Qualified attendees can earn CE credits by coming to our free Professional Lecture Series events. Often held over lunchtime (and sometimes known as a “Lunch & Learn”), each lecture event is facilitated by an expert-level speaker who is presenting on a current topic in the field of behavioral health.

Professionals who may be interested in these events include therapists, counselors, interventionists, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, medical staff and more. All treatment professionals are welcome. Some previous topics covered include intervention, self-harm, managing resistance to treatment, process addiction treatment, resilience, personality disorders, experiential therapy and many others.

Alumni

Are you looking for information on the Alumni Outreach Department? That program is history. In it’s place, we’ve launched The Life Challenge! The Life Challenge, also known as The L+C, is a recovery initiative to support those who have, and will, face challenges. Whether your challenge is getting out of bed in the morning, reconnecting with a loved one, or making strides towards a personal goal, we are here for you. We are a positive and motivational community. Together we will break down life’s barriers and celebrate the accomplishments along the way.

Heroes 6K

Heroes in Recovery hosts 6K races across the country, and everyone is invited to join in support of the cause: to break the stigma surrounding addiction and mental health issues. We want people in recovery, their families and friends, and people in every community who support those getting help to run the races and join the movement. Heroes also sponsors local events and charities that empower people to live healthy, sober lifestyles. To find out more about Heroes in Recovery 6K events, please click below.
