Moment of Change 2010: Conference Introduction

Specific issues around interventions, disease concepts, family participation, and practical business considerations will be presented. Conference participants have the opportunity to receive continuing education credits and acquire in-depth information about the process of intervention for addiction and mental illness.

The participant will be able to:
  • Apply clinical skills from a broad range of professional core functions including alternative approaches to interventions, different therapy approaches and the mechanics of intervening.
  • Cite advances in the field of addiction and intervention from practice innovations.
  • Differentiate among key philosophies of intervention and integrate methods into practice.

NEW THIS YEAR: The Interventionists Networking Event

A one-day event to promote Interventionists Networking for a low fee of $99!

Participating interventionists will be allowed to give a 10-minute presentation about themselves and their business specialty to a broad representation of treatment programs, providers, and other interventionists for a low fee of $99. Included in this opportunity is a one-page overview of themselves to be added in a summary packet for all participants. Participants will be required to stay the entire day with cell phones and laptops turned off as a courtesy to each other.

The event will be held on Thursday, the last day of The Moment of Change conference, September 30, 2010. Please enjoy a free lunch sponsored by The Bridge to Recovery. There is no fee for all of the treatment programs, providers, and other conference attendees.

The is opportunity is available on a first registered, first scheduled basis with limited time slots. Reserve your spot to attend or to present when you register.

THE MOMENT OF CHANGE FALL GOLF TOUR

Moment of Change Golf TourFollow the tour through two beautiful east coast courses, beginning with the Seabrook House Foundation Golf Classic, Friday, Sept. 24. The Tour then proceeds to the Hanley Center Annual Golf Scramble, Sunday, Sept. 26, opening day of registration at The Moment of Change. Participants will not only support two excellent organizations AND qualify for prizes at each individual event, combined scores will qualify for a grand tour prize to be awarded at the conference! Bring official scorecards from both events to the conference registration.
