Iu-Luen Jeng, LCPC, ATR
Iu-Luen Jeng (she/her), ATR, LCPC, joined the Foundations Chicago team as the clinical program manager in August 2020. She is a clinical consultant and supervisor with over ten years of experience in Chicago, Illinois. Jeng specializes in treating various behavioral health problems within the LGBTQ and BIPOC population. She is active in the community psychology and art therapy field, offering training both locally and internationally. Feminist theory, harm reduction, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing are the foundation of her work. She was the recipient of Everyday Shero from the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum and 30 under 30 of Windy City Times.
Jeng has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from National Taiwan University, a master’s degree in art therapy from School of Art Institute of Chicago. Jeng is a long-term supporter of local charities and mental health professional associations. She has been involved in the American Art Therapy Association for eight years and served as the Illinois chapter president. Jeng enjoys culinary, cinema art, and writing. She has published recipes, interviews, and restaurant reviews during her spare time, and serves as a bilingual interpreter for international film festivals.
