Jahna Carolina, APC

Jahna joined the Foundations Recovery Network team in October 2021 after working for 2 years at a long-term residential substance use program here in Atlanta. Originally from St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles, she relocated to Florida for a few years and then her family settled on Georgia where she has been since. Jahna attended Georgia State University and obtained BA in Psychology and earned her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. Prior to joining Foundations Recovery Network, Jahna worked at St. Jude’s Recovery Center for 2 years as a clinician working with both the men’s and women’s programs. Jahna completed her internship at Talbott Dunwoody where she first began her clinical work with patients in the substance use disorder arena.
Jahna obtained her APC in December 2019. She specializes in Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy skills. She has had the opportunity to work in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors providing substance use disorder treatment here in Atlanta.
