Josiah Stickels is the director of outpatient services for Foundations San Francisco. A graduate of CIIS and a Northern California native, Josiah has worked in adolescent inpatient, dual diagnosis residential rehabilitation, and over a decade at UCSF Langley Porter Intensive Services. A holistic experience at UCSF, Josiah started as a rehabilitation therapist and departed as clinical administrative director of intensive services. His experience lends to a deep understanding of the intricacies and nuances of each role in a treatment program. His worked has included increasing efficient and beneficial outcomes for consumers and clinical staff working within partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Also a highly dedicated clinician with a commitment to quality care and excellence in group leadership, Josiah is passionate about providing mental health and substance abuse treatment aiming towards de-stigmatization and expanded accessibility. His expertise includes psychotherapy, crisis management, acute psychiatry, drama therapy, assessments & evaluations, program planning & implementation, the LGBTQIA+ community, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
