Shay Wyatt, APC
Shay joined the Foundations Recovery Network team in October 2021 after working for 2 years at a long-term residential substance use program here in Atlanta. Originally from Thompson, Georgia Shay relocated to Atlanta to attend the University of West Georgia where she graduated with BA in Psychology and earning a MS of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. Prior to joining Foundation’s Recovery Network, Shay worked at St. Jude’s Recovery Center for 2 years as a clinician working with the both the men’s and women’s programs. Additionally, she completed an internship at a local outpatient substance use disorder program.
Shay obtained her APC in June 2019. Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Skills and Reality Therapy. She has had the opportunity to work in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors providing substance use disorder treatment here in Atlanta.
