Initiative designed to engage and support people post-treatment saw increased connections with those in recovery

The Life Challenge - Foundations Recovery Network Alumni ProgramNashville, TN | February 21, 2017 – Foundations Recovery Network (FRN) is proud to celebrate the one-year anniversary of The Life Challenge (L+C). The Life Challenge is a recovery initiative to celebrate those who have and will face challenges on their recovery journey. The team is dedicated to providing follow-up calls, resources and encouragement following treatment for those battling addiction and mental health disorders.

In the past year, the L+C team has grown significantly by adding four new positions, hosting several L+C events across the country and identified increased engagement by issuing “challenges” to its members. One specific area of success is its Bragging Rights program. Bragging Rights is a place where people can show off the challenges they have overcome in hopes of encouraging others. Since launching, the L+C has received photos of its members’ sober adventures, volunteering, starting a new job, making new friends, celebrating sober anniversaries and more.

“We are excited and humbled by the momentum The L+C created this year,” said Sabrina Mathis, Lifetime Relationships Manager for Foundations Recovery Network. “We look forward to spreading the message and motivating more people in our second year and beyond.”
