Lucas Anthony Trautman, MD, MPH

Medical Director

As the medical director for The Oaks at La Paloma, Foundations Memphis and Foundations Nashville, Lucas Anthony Trautman takes his passion for psychiatry and addiction medicine everywhere he goes. “I am drawn to psychiatry and addiction medicine because I gain great fulfillment from interacting with people who are overcoming obstacles, and I am passionate about empowering clients with compassionate, evidence-based, high-quality care.”

Trautman worked as a private-practice psychiatrist for 10 years before taking his current position in April 2017. He is proud of FRN’s commitment to building experienced clinical teams and cultivating the best patient care.

A native Memphian, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Memphis and his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine (UTHSC). He later earned a master’s in public health from the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, completed his pediatric internship at Louisiana State University and finished his psychiatry residency at the UTHSC.

A father of two daughters, Trautman enjoys spending time with his kids and wife of 14 years. His hobbies are Brazilian jiujitsu and wrestling.

Lynndee Rainey, NCC, LPC

Lynndee Rainey
From Gulfport, Mississippi, Lynndee Rainey joined the Foundations Nashville team as an outpatient therapist in September 2014. Passionate about the change that occurs during treatment, Rainey meets each patient with an empathetic and empowering approach. She earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Millsaps College and a master’s in counselor education from the University of Alabama.

With a wealth of experience in various mental health and addiction facility settings, Rainey previously served as supervisor for a federally funded program for women with substance abuse and their children. She has also served as clinical coordinator for Drug Court Intensive and Intensive Outpatient Programs. Enjoying her patients both on an individual and group level, she loves watching them achieve their goals and make new connections. When she’s not working, Rainey enjoys crafting, antiquing, game nights with friends, spending time with her nieces and rooting for the Alabama Crimson Tide and New Orleans Saints.

Lauren Pfister, MEd, NCC

Lauren Pfister
A native of southern Indiana, Lauren Pfister initially joined Foundations Recovery Network in the San Francisco IOP location in March 2016 as intake coordinator. With a desire to further support patients through the entire treatment process, she made the move to Foundations Nashville in December 2017 as a therapist.

Pfister earned a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Western Kentucky University and completed her undergraduate studies at Indiana University in psychology. Bringing both CBT and DBT concepts to her holistic, creative approach, her prior experience includes working for a nonprofit agency, as well as years working in an acute hospital setting. When not busy working, Lauren enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with loved ones. She also loves exploring the city, visiting neighborhood restaurants and spending time outdoors.

Kate Moyer, RYT, C-IAYT

Yoga Therapist
Originally from Aston, Pennsylvania, Kate Moyer joined the Foundations Nashville team as a yoga therapist in 2014. Passionate about teaching others and helping them experience the powerful connection between mind and body, she is committed to making yoga as approachable and relatable as possible. She earned a bachelor’s degree in church music from Valley Forge Christian College, and in addition to being a certified yoga teacher, she is trained in trauma-sensitive yoga and mindfulness-based self-compassion. Moyer is also the owner of a small business called The ABCs of Happy. When she’s not working, Moyer loves writing songs, playing music, cooking, decorating and hospitality.
